GameDev.net's Four Elements IV Contest results are out, with 'Ninja Loves Pirate' bagging the top prize. The contest itself is a great concept that features entries with an assortment of robots, pirates, ninjas and zombies.

Ninja Loves Pirate is a platformer that shows plenty of promise. You can alternate between two playable characters anytime during play, using their respective strengths to tackle murderous and flesh-craving zombies. Graphics are pure eye-candy, much like sprites from the Metal Slug series.

4E4 results can be found here, and all entries are listed on this page, available for download. Congratulations to all the winners!
