Let's give a warm welcome to the new guitar hero in town. Aptly titled Frets on Fire, it will either help you get laid or have you breaking a few keyboards out of frustration in no time.

No expensive controllers required for this game. The main menu shows you how to hold the keyboard properly in order to rock the stage. A handy tutorial provides simple steps to follow, assuming that you can keep a straight face while playing catch up. Hold a button with your finger, then press the enter key to pick a note.

One to keep an eye on, especially if the developers include good music from unsigned bands.

Name: Frets on Fire
Developer: Unreal Voodoo
Category: Action
Type: Freeware
Size: 30MB

hah! i just love the tutorial! juergen is right: i SUCK in this game! but i can't stop trying... :D

My mistake! The Wikipedia article tells me this is AVG misreading a file.

no problem at all, sergio. :)i run all games reviewed on this site through a virus check before posting, unlike some other sites. so, no worries.i would have personally requested that this game be disqualified from the competition if it had contained even a single trace of a virus. :)

thanks tim, good to know.... man this game is so much fun. today i will try to add my own track.
