Space Cabbage is a retro action game developed by astrosmurf, based on an idea from an old BBC show about computers. Hold the cursor keys to move your ship around, or press the control key to shoot. Line the enemies in your crosshair for a direct hit.

For every hit your ship takes, a fraction of your shield gauge is taken away. Lasers stop working when overheated, so use them sparingly. Three levels only.

A new Interview with Cactus can be found over at Planet Freeplay. Bonus questions and pictures may come later.

Warning: Mature content.

Tomoyo Fighter Plus is a doujin Final Fight clone by Chinchilla Softhouse, developer PreCure-ACT and Zugya DX. Proceed with caution as this release contains several questionable themes in it, for example an entire level featuring otaku bashing action and perverted pop culture references.

The installation of files for East Asian languages may be required to get the trial version to work. To enable keyboard controls, first choose the joypad option. Select input patch and click on the largest button in the new window to restore default settings, then choose OK. Full screen mode can be enabled in the video menu.

The female lead cannot pick up weapons, but does have several additional moves to counteract this disadvantage. Press the down arrow key together the the punch action button while in midair to execute a damaging elbow drop. This particular move can be repeated several times by pressing the Z key repeatedly.

Use the X key to execute your secondary attack, press the C key to jump and hold the S key to dash. Collect items or weapons using the A key.

Five long stages are included in the demo. Click on the first link to access the download page with a list of mirrors, all leading to the same file.

Look familiar? It probably should. Inspired by Cave Story, this demo of Qui'Ifon plays in a particularly similar vein, minus the shooty weapons but with pretty modern retro-ish styled visuals.
