Amanita Design (Samorost series) is currently working on a full-scale adventure game entitled Machinarium. The new project features hand-drawn art and backgrounds, but retains the point-and-click interface that fans of the series have grown accustomed to.

Adventure Gamers had also revealed that the world is populated by robots, and players can expect to interact with a small inventory during the course of the game.

Machinarium will be released sometime in the second half of 2008.

A new game by the Samorost people! I can't wait already =D Still a year to go, though...

= awesome

That is just beautiful artwork. What a lonely, desolate world... perfect for a lone fighter pilot to make his last stand against the alien horde.Still, it'll be good as a non-shooter too :)Bill

Simply gorgeous. I look forward to this one, though I may forget about it a few times before it comes out ^_^.

Graphics incredible and nice story but "pixel hunter" is not funny at all.

Will this be free?

Amazing artwork again. Seems more atmospheric than Samorost and it definitely don't look like a freebie to me... Telltale perhaps?

WOWthis looks fantastic, i've been itching to hear news of what the samorost ppl were up to next.im sold
