Command and Conquer Free Download
To celebrate the 12th anniversary of Command and Conquer's release, the original Command & Conquer Gold has been offered on EA's site as a free 1GB download together with instructions on how to get the game working on PCs with Windows XP installed. [source: Retro Remakes]

Whoa ....Now this is something indicating that the world is about to end ...EA giving something for free and ... with less than 20yo ...Better download it before someone gots up with their late night effects ...

According to this page on that site's forums (that eaapoc (C&C) guy on there, at least. I don't know how he relates to EA), the game's free for only September, so better grab it as soon as you can.
