Protoganda 2 is a new 2D arcade shooter by cactus, developed in under two hours. Use the cursor keys for movement, and hold the Z key to shoot. The X key can be held down to activate your shields. Press the enter key to start a game from the main menu.

Colliding with debris or bullets will destroy the ship. Originally conceived as an unlockable game for Shotgun Ninja.

Seriously, cactus, give us a break...
Jon Blow held lectures about prototyping but you're making games faster than most people prototypes. ;-)

By the way - the visibility in this one is pretty poor.

It's funny, though, how cactus can make quite good games even when he's not trying. :-D

The game was made for a little two hour challenge at thepoppenkast.com. Kinda hard to tke my time with it when the whole idea is to make a game fast. Blame the guy who issued the competition for setting such rules...

Cactus, I really love this game. There is nothing I would add to it, except more color.

Maybe you could change it and add different color schemes like you did in Akuchizoku.

If you've got the version with a background effect and charged shots then that should be the final version (except, maybe I'll add highscores before it goes onto my site). Otherwise give it a re-download for a four hour (slightly less bland) version.
