Hahaha, 'mainstream indy'. there are two types of indy games, there's indy... and then there's indy.

I wish a year was a day, so we could have countdowns all year round.

hehe, generic slash. gotta break out the code for that and improve on it some time.

Excellent round-up Tim and many games I didn't know... Thanks!

where's DoomRL?!

also, Generic Slash is the shit!! i have no idea what's so addictive about it, possibly the pick-up sound and/or the awesome player graphic. it would be awesome as a full-er roguelike.

I was asked to avoid writing about anything that could be infringing on copyrights, so DoomRL and CastlevaniaRL were (regretfully) excluded..

Had to pad the list with demos because of these omissions actually. :(

Generic Slash in the 2007 top 10? We need more indie RPG's...

surely id knows about the game by now.

also, GS is AWESOME!

If you were asked to avoid things which infringe copyrights, doesn't Hurrican and Barkley Shut up and Jam break that rule too?

I cant get exit fate to work..wont let me select new game

If you don't know Dwarf Fortress, try it now, it's an order!

Love ASCII roguelikes, unforunately there's only Incursion :( At least there's Dwarf Fortress :)
