Freeware Game Pick: SeizureDome (cactus)
Seizuredome is a new remake of Unholy Stage, the arena shooter released by cactus back in 2007. The objective of the game is to stay away the edge of the screen, which can be rather complicated when enemies are attempting to push you off the suspended platform at every opportunity.
Use the cursor keys to move, and hold the left mouse button to shoot. Right click for an alternate firing method, applicable to all weapons available for acquisition from vanquished enemies.

Haha, yeah baby! Definitely a cactus work. Concept and chaining is pretty cool, the enemy designs are genius and the music is still playing in my head:-)
On the downside: I wish the arena would be a little bigger (like in the boxhead games) to give the player the feeling of trippy virtual masslaughter;-)
Also, it would be cool if one could turn down the fx-volume in order to enjoy more of the strangely hypnotic music during playing.
Cactus, I really hope that someday you fuse some (many!) of your little games into a WarioWare style monster of pure Minigame madness - I would definitely buy it.

Yes awesome game. But it's not so much that Cactus has made many games recently, but that many games recently made have been by Cactus.
The chaotic atmosphere and awesome music really do well here.
