Hush is a collaborative team effort headed by Jamie Antonisse, one of the designers for The Misadventures of P.B. Winterbottom. The game is intended for mature audiences, and it's recommended to play Hush with headphones if you have any. Both PC and Mac versions are available for download. (source: Christian Nutt, Gamasutra)

Small warning:

Tried to play this game and when I missed one of the letters, the game froze in a loop. Took a long while to kill the process (since it was hogging all the resources).

May or may not happen to you, just wanted to give a heads up...

It did the same for me. It makes me wonder if they even test-played it properly.

Yeah, ditto here as well, although it's not too surprising: machines in a dev environment like USC's are going to be custom-built to the teeth, it'd be easy to miss a dependency.

Still: implementing Alt-F4 ftw!!

According to the readme, ESC should quit at any time, but when it's frozen in its infinite loop it doesn't really care ;)

Hi guys,

Thanks for trying the game... and sorry about the crash. The error on the first letter exists on the PC version only (at least that's been the experience thus far) and happens on approx. 1/2 the computers... we've been unable to track the bug down so far, and the fact that Hush is built in Torque Game Builder makes it tough to determine whether it's a problem in my code or something deeper.

I'm going to be working on the issue in the next few weeks to see if we can't get it fixed... in the meantime, if anyone HAS gotten the game to work, I'd love your feedback!
