Thomas Grip and Jens Nilsson interviewed about their latest release, Penumbra: Black Plague.

Penumbra Black Plague - Developer Interview

Comments

Well, it's not really a discussion, basically only Thomas is explaining the game's main elements :D

Anyway, I purchased both episodes and they truly are great, refreshing horror games. I am not even a huge fan of horror games but I think they got the suspense and its mix with the puzzle and adventure elements just right. I highly recommend the two episodes :)

Now I'm really curios to hear about their next project, as apparently Penumbra is finished now. I hope they can innovate again like they did with the physics engine, but hopefully this time they will get some more attention, as Penumbra apparently is not really that popular.

A horror game where the player's character make jokes every time something scary happens..? Ugh. Other than that, it looks pretty cool.

It's not the player's character, it's a voice inside the player's character's head ;) And he (or rather "it"?) tries to make a fool of you pretty often, just adding to the slight insanity in the game :)
