Kinda reminds me of King of Fighters and Metal Slug at the same time.

This felt a little too anime story and guro-riffic...
The last one had much better and varied animation.

You must be joking, this video is absolutely fantastic!

Why would anyone still have a Livejournal? Just take a look at the comments on the page to know that only idiots use it these days (no offense to Paul there, but damn)

Not sure whether this is better or worse than his last animation. It's definitely more retro-gameish, though. The sprites are smaller, and there's a lot more of them. Less individual detail though.
The previous one was a little more coherent, wheras this can only be described as an almighty brain-dump. Almost everything Robertson has been drawing/designing for the past year or so has basically been filtered into this and stirred around, then squished into his big-headed 16-bit style.
Artistically, I like it. A mash-up of pretty much every videogame cliche imaginable, with a little bit of internet horror filtered in.
And the music is rad, too.

Pretty damn awesome for one of the most fucked up pixel animations I've ever laid eyes on. Now if only the dude would team upwith some coders and use all that talent to make a game, I'd be one step closer from a happy death.

Also, it should be noted that this video should not be watched by people with photosensory epilepsy. Even I got unconfortable with the flashing colors at one point.

Melly : And so did I... Too much strobe IMHO.
I always wanted someone to remake Pirate Baby's Cabana Battle Street Fight 2006 as a true video game. But this... No. I'm sorry, but this is totally incoherent. Gorgeous, but incoherent. You spend more time thinking "WTF" than anything else, and the crazy strobe means thats you have to wait at least 24 hours before watching it again lest you go crazy.
Plus, I was promised a New Super Ultimate Jesus, and he never came (or he was very lame)

that was fucked up
cool, but totally... nonsense.
it made me go "wtf" a million times

Note: you need the Xvid codec to play the video

...and yeah, this video is every videogame ever made in a nutshell
