I just found out about this last night. I loved the first one, and this one is better. My only gripe is that the game ends very abruptly, I was hoping for something to happen at Union City.

Man just finished playing it over at armorgames. Definately better than the first one which was the previous best flash game. Seriously newgrounds needs to reinvent their rating system for this game its just too good. Only thing was that it was a little on the easy side but i did go through it without visiting every city so i'll HAVE to play it again for sure :). This could seriously be put on xboxlivearcade or something. I'd buy it over all the other sub-par games out there. In short inf/5 can't wait till you put it here on newgrounds!

The game does end very abruptly, unfortunately.
The survivors were a complete waste. I'd give them an automatic rifle and they would just sit there not shooting anything. When they did, they only unloaded a few bullets.
The only thing that made this game even remotely hard, were the zombies that would run up to the barricade. No special zombies that exploded or zombies that poisoned you, just faster zombies. It's a cheap difficulty spike since the zombies would run up to the barricade before the player had a chance to kill them.
It's not a bad game but it definitely was NOT the best Defend Your * game I've played.

NOT better than the first. The overused running zombies quickly become tiresome, survivors are even more ineffective than the first game, it still takes too long to find supplies and weapons, the aiming is broken, and hit detection for the zombies is still shoddy.
I really thought the first game showed alot of promise, but sadly this sequel does not deliver. It seems they spent nearly all their time making new background art, and did little else to justify this as a sequel.

I made the mistake of not equipping an automatic or the chainsaw, causing me to undie. You'd think a sawn-off, hand grenades, and buddies with SMGs would help one live.

The game seems broken to me, since every time I get my hands on the RPG, my character would somehow disappear...
I sure wish that the bow was in the first game... Would have made the headshot badge on Kongregate so much easier...

Haha, it took me 3 tries to get the headshot badge. But it gave me an excuse to play the game more.

I don't really like this game all that much. It's fairly enjoyable but only with 30% of the available weapons. I mean, why the hell does a hunting rifle with scope have the same innacuracy of an automatic weapon?
Survivors were too useless as usual. They attacked too rarily, so much that I barely saw much reason to equip them with good weapons. I just gave them what I wasn't using. If you're gonna make allies useless in combat, don't let them be in combat to begin with and give you a false initial sense of security.
I like the addiction of traps and relocation to different cities, but like it's been mentioned, the core gameplay is not refined, and so these additions aren't as fun as they could be. Gameplay isn't very smooth either. I'm pretty sure any John Doe can stop reloading a weapon to grab the chainsaw and cut down the zombie eating at the barricade.
And as usual, thanks to the innacuracy of your shots the only useful weapons are automatic ones.
Seems like another usual case of just adding more fluff on top of an unrefined formula that still manages to be successful amongst flash gamers.

I have no problems with the shooting, I guess it's intuitive for me. Aiming at the head isn't gonna do it, each weapon has an arc and trajectory but it didn't get in my way. Personally, the biggest thing that pisses me off about this game is how buggy it is. It would flip out at random. My character would disappear, the main menu would appear with the characters layered on top, and various other game breaking shit.

This game kicks ass. Best defense game out there. It's tactical, but not TOO tactical to the point where the action is rare. If you liked the first one, this adds a little more to the out-of-combat gameplay, such as adding new areas. I remember in the first one, there was an automatic that made the game easy-pz. It's been nerfed in this one, but the automatics are still the only useful weapons. You guys shouldn't cry about survivors not shooting enough; the game is easy enough as is. My problems with this game include: ending sucked, a little on the glitchy side, and most of the weapons being useless.
