You might remember the screenshots that were posted of this project ("2D side-scrolling WIP platformer, which is heavily influenced by Metroid Prime 1 and other games in the Metroid series") sometime back.

Well now there's a gameplay video and aside from YouTube screwing up the quality, it looks pretty sweet. I'm unsure about this getting to finishing point (it's only around 8% done) but there's always hope.

Yay! I've always wanted to roam the lands as Navi/chubby Darth Vader. Really, it looks great though.. love the music :3

The game looks and sounds good but seems a little bit slow...

I'm a big fan of this guy's stuff. His pixel art is top notch, and I envy his atmospheric style. Definitely looking forward to this game.

Well the graphics look good but thats about it if you ask me. I didn't really see anything in terms of gameplay. Just a lot of walking around. I don't know if there are puzzles or something but it seemed really dull.

The light beam type movement seems way too much like the blue stars in Mario Galaxy. Music was kind of annoying although certainly moody.

Maybe I'm not giving the game enough credit but from that video it really doesn't look worth downloading. Its not finished so any of that could change but as it is now....

Well, you should probably consider that it's only "around 8% done". For 8% done, that video sure isn't lacking. I imagine there will be much more to the game at the end besides very pretty graphics. Though, then again, I'm too lazy to make an account to check out the dev blog... which will probably change soon because I'm interested to see where this is going.

I must say that game looks quite good. Does look a bit empty but at 8% it's probably to be expected.

Mario Galaxy star thing looks a little too obvious though. Hmm.

Wow, this one it quite awesome looking. Seems very MP inspired, which rocks because I thought the MP mood, atmosphere and style were too epic to not get used more. I'll be waiting for this one to come out.

Just from looking at the vid, I can tell that this game is going to be massive in amount of areas to explore. I have a feeling when and if i get this game, I know i'm gonna be spending hours just trying to find an important object I've over looked. Just like how it was with the Metroid Prime series.
