Indie App Pick: OE-CAKE! (Prometech Software, Inc.)
What sets OECake apart from other physics simulation tool is that it can load any sort of image from your computer into the application as the surface for an object or fluid of your choice, then watching them interact with the surroundings based on the law of physics that you've selected. Drag and drop a file on to the application window to experiment with this feature. Also available for the Mac.

At first, I thought Exploding Rabbit was the best way to describe this. Then:

Not seen such nice fluid simulation before - very impressive.

The fluids are great but what I like most about it is how soft it feels. Not only the different materials feel more or less soft, even just drawing feels great. At least judging from the "points" view it doesn't even look very complicated. But then again I have no idea about programming, anyway.
By the way, try having a piece of "jet" and attach some "mochi" to it. I'm not quite sure what those 2 are but apparently jet pushes stuff away, while mochi attaches to it. Combining the two can make for some hilarious situations :D

Oha, there are a few things I was totally unaware of.
1. You can drag stuff around using the right mouse! It is so obvious, but I was busy simply playing around I didn't even think about the use of any other buttons.
2. You simply enlarge the window for having a larger "playground" :D
3. You can load several premade "levels". They are quite funny :)
4. Checking the "hairline" option decreases the brush size.
I hope that helps those who are similiarly unobservant :)

This game is amazing, however I don't understand what some of the options do, like bubble and some of the others.

Those who wondering why OE-cake is slow : it's probably because your screen depth is set to 16 bits !
Octave engine need 32 bits ;)
By the way there is still some laptop incompatible with this software. In that case OE-cake will simply refuse to start even if you install the MVSC++ 2005 redist.
Hope this help :)
