Thrustburst is basically a remake of an old arcade game which involves navigating treacherous caverns by activating your thrusters using the W, A, D or cursor keys. Energy can be increased by lightly grazing the cavern walls and ceilings, preferably with the tail end of your ship. Activate the Energy Shield by pressing the shift or tab key, and press space or the left control key to fire the Defender Cannon. Use the F1 function key or hold the left alternate and enter key to toggle fullscreen.

To destroy the asteroid's core, simply approach it with maximum energy. The Energy Shield and Defender Cannon must not be used during this final approach. The regular difficulty setting is only fifty kilometers long, but there are two additional gameplay modes to unlock by completing the game. Thrustburst also supports both analog and wired Xbox 360 controllers. (source: ptoing)

diz iz really good game.

I love this approach to a great genre while using minimalist, dark, moody graphix, and maintaining excellente gameplay.

cant wayt for next project.
muy bien

excellent work,. lov the style all things come together perfectly! minmlist and excessive. The sound design, pixel art, and gameplay all super fine. instant classic in my games folder,. is so tough it makes me what to imolate myself, and then jump off the CN tower, but that is part of the apeal me thinks. great to see Lackey is not dead,. I can't wait to see more form you guys,.. site is sweet too. peace

Hard game is hard, holy shit

Hard as hell. lol

Shipdesign is pretty cool...and the game is really fun:-)

Everything in this game has been put together so well. The animations and mechanics are smooth, and grazing the top or bottom of the cave can be a real challenge. Excellent!

aw, don't give away what The Core looks like!

That's a heavily pixelated look of it. :P Don't worry, the real thing is MUCH more impressive and ominous.

Make sure you reach it with full energy, though. And don't use shield and laser on it.

No, originally it was the actual Ancient Hard Core, it's been replaced now :P

The game is really cool looking and has a nice mood, but does it have to be so hard? I admit I am not that hardcore, so maybe it is just not aimed at me. It almost seems like a joke when I delicately navigate my way through this tunnel for 5 minutes and then graze just a bit too close to the ground and instantly explode, landing back on the title screen. I don't think I will ever get to the end! It is just too unforgiving.
