Zero Point is an impressive-looking horizontal shooter developed with the Game Maker engine, but consists of only one short level in the current build. Use the cursor keys to move, and hold the left control key to shoot. Your special attack gauge automatically charges up when no shots are fired from your ship, indicated by a red bar at the bottom left of the screen.

The lite version is missing plenty of background graphics and sound, and should only be downloaded as a last resort. Note that the game will only run properly on graphic adapters which are capable of supporting a resolution of 1280 by 960 or higher. (trailer in the extended)

HOLY SHIT!
That is some serious graphical godness!!
Awesome job! I can't wait to play the real thing!

This game is AWESOME and just hope that it gets finished.

The graphics are some of the best I have seen and the music is a perfect match.

Ill be watching this one.

I can't say I enjoyed it much, or like the graphics. Thought it looked quite ugly to be honest. It's a bit sluggish on my PC too.

I decided to try it after reading the negative comment above and watching the video.

Get your eyes checked maybe? And buy a machine that isn't over a decade old? It ran just fine on my oldest (AMD 1.47ghz, 500mb RAM, 128mb vid) machine. Maybe you're just a worthless troll.

The game is fantastic so far. The background and enemy graphics are excellent. My only recommendation is possibly making the enemy bullets stand out a bit more somehow. Maybe brighter or having hard edges on them.
