Just trying out video recording on this junk of a PC. If it turns out well I might record gameplay videos for one or two more indie games, since there's so few of them out there...

cool...thanks to your video i have downloaded and tested this game...damn this game is great.
im curious when the final version will be released.
question to you Tim:
which program do you use for recording?
ive tested recently a few but most of them didnt work properly and had a bad framerate and stuff...
currently i use fraps which records at a good framerate...after the record you have a big uncompressed file with about 300 megs by 1 minute of gameplay...so it should be converted into flash...
there is also a program out called "gamecam" and "sorenson squeeze" for making the video small with good quality but they didnt work for me...cause they need win xp...and i still own win2000 sp4 . argh :-D

I use CamStudio to record, then Windows Movie Maker (free download as well, Vista version available) to compress the file size.
Use the lossless codec (also available on the same download page for CamStudio) for encoding videos.
