Played it, loved it. It's the twisted-ness that I'd expect from American, but with more fun then I've seen from his recent games. Can't wait for next weeks episode!

So cool, a must-play !!!

Despite those very positive comments I can say that I can barely think of another game which bored me as much as this first episode of "Grimm" did. It's also one of the most simple "bigger" games I know: There is a bright and colorful level, you walk around in it and automatically turn it into a dark place. The you Super Mario-buttstomp something to get to the next level. Next up you repeat that a dozen times.
The transformations of all the objects is rather nice, but apart from that I can see nothing good in that game. The story doesn't seem creative or sympathetic and is boring, as is the gameplay.
Besides, all of Grimm has been done before: Psychonauts had a rather good level mixing very good and very evil sides of a fairytale in exactly the same way and in De Blob you totally change the look of a city by jumping around in it.
Both of these are good, Grimm, in my opinion, isn't.

MisterX, I was just about to come back and post the same thing, but let me add a little.

So what if every level is suddenly stinky or disgusting, we haven't really changed anything deeper than the cosmetics. American doesn't add to the depth of the story by making it darker as he thinks he does.

The gameplay is so classic, that I hardly see any innovation. Go to area as level zero, do repetitive task, level up, do more repetitive task... Games have evolved beyond this setup.

Well, this was fun!
Sure it was not that challenging or innovative or whatever, but I thoroughly enjoyed the ~50 minutes I spent with it and I am looking forward to play it again (secrets & speed).

Am I right that I can't play GameTap from Russia?

@Misterx and @splinter

Do you known about coffe break games? This game will not intent to compete against a Mario 64 but for a casual games, the kind of people that is unwilling to spend time learning new moves.

I thought this was a great, fun, beautifully designed game.

Visually innovative and classic gameplay that casual gamers can enjoy.

Nice storytelling and comic darkness, love it!

I thought it had a great blend of atmosphere and playability, best little free game i've played in ages..
