Stick Ranger is a new Java-based application by the developer of Powder Game, where players will manage a party of adventurers by dragging them towards the enemies to engage in either ranged or melee attacks. Health is restored by consuming rice balls, while experience points can be spent to improve the skills of any character.

The current build contains ten playable stages only, though more additions can be expected in the coming weeks.

A little too tedious for me

Maybe promising as I like these real time RPGs, but the physics part is just frustrating for me and would possibly would just be better controlled via wasd or something.

WASD and 1-4 perhaps?

Yeah, it's a fun concept, but it's impossible to drag the players without flinging them wildly around first.

I have to agree with everyone else. You end up flinging people around. I'd love to see WASD controls and 1-4 players. Online would be nice but its a little hard to implement I would think.

WASD with another button being attack, A and D could aim for snipers and mages. That would take it from a cute distraction to a great game.

A serious flaw :the best way to beat game is to use a ranged character such the archer, only using the archer you can win, the "puncher" is a useless character.

You can win the game by just using any 1 of the four characters. With the melee character, just drag him into the ground so he's lying flat. Then all you have to do is drag him close to enemies and he'll kill them. You can do the same with any of the characters.
