Deaths is a 2D experimental platformer by Jesse Venbrux, creator of Execution and the popular Karoshi series. At the start of each game, the last fifty failed attempts by players from all around the world will be loaded and displayed as cadavers in various parts of the current stage.

There are only six levels to play in total, as development work on Deaths has been discontinued due to lack of positive feedback. (download instructions)

Fun idea, nice experimental game. It's sort of like that quantum super mario kaizo world video.

Pretty weird though that in order to beat the final levels you'll need to kill yourself a couple of times.

damn it, persistent shared deaths was our idea!! nooooooooooo!!

a vague 'idea' for a game not a good game at all

this is a great idea... the implementation needs a bit of work though.

raigan: are you going to add this to some version of N? =D
please?

Whoa! What an intriguing idea!

this kid sure makes some morbid games

I love the idea, but it would be nice if there were more play mechanics centered around the bodies.

It looks like a mix of Paroxysm and Karoshi, but is worse than both games. The death sound is equal to Karoshi.

Seems like a sucsess! Too bad it's kinda discontinued... I might make my own shared deathspot game ;)
