Caution: strong language.

Stallions in America is a new action game from cactus where players will get to choose one of the four available characters to take on a cross-country journey filled with massive explosions and wanton destruction. Use the cursor keys to move, left click to shoot, and press the right mouse button to use your special move. Health is restored automatically when you're not under attack. Clear the area in each level to proceed to the next, but try to avoid falling of the edge of a map or your mission will end abruptly. (Poppenkast thread)

Extremely disorienting at first, atleast with the random palette setup I had. But also really fun. I thought the things that were floating by were just extra ammo crates, turns out they drop enemies and you gotta kill them!

Fun fact: You can push E to change your weapon, but if you try to fire it it switches back to your stallion's normal weapon.

Oh wow, ammo goes into negative numbers with seemingly no ill effects...

Fun game, I didn't have the perseverance to do all 50 states though.

Ugh. Thanks for telling me about that bug!

Fixed now!

No more cactus! That guy hasn't got an ounce of talent, yet keeps being spammed around. Why not stay silent about him and post about talented indies instead?

I like it. I think the bring colors and exaggerated explosions would work especially for people who like to let their emotion out or need some extra visual stimulation.

I would like to have a feature of being able to zoom camera out or in, or to have it change by itself sometimes.

Hard work > Talent.

Anyway, this game sounds pretty good, going to check it out.

Re: Whining about cactus

Because cactus has more talent in his pinky finger than most indie game designers will ever have in his entire lives.

He makes excellent and fun games, in a tenth of the time, and it makes jealous morons like you weep.

Because cactus has more talent in his pinky finger than most indie game designers will ever have in his entire lives.
The indie game scene is in a horrible state then.

Hard work > Talent.
There should first be 'hard work', and not '8 hours of work and no testing to release a socalled game with fucked up gameplay and severely lacking polish'

Anonymous: Get over it.

Also, now that I think about it, why are you paying so much attention to Cactus if you hate him so? Something you're not telling us, Anonymous?

Anon does not forgive! :O

I enjoy the game, but I really wish there was a save feature, so I could play it in small chunks, and resume from where I left off...
