Warning: contains strong language and graphic scenes.

The Vacuum is a sci-fi adventure game which tells the story of a couple traveling home inside a cargo ship when a pair of explosions set off a chain of events that will forever change both of their lives. The final outcome is influenced by key decisions made by you during the course of your investigation, though most of the endings contain only minor variations in comparison.

Use the tab key to display or hide your objectives. There is an option to skip walk animations with the space key in the settings menu.

Really great game, I'd love to see the other endings though.

Yeah, just played it through now, quite short but really great! I like how it's pretty open ended so you can prevent deaths etc.

Indeed, it's pretty good. I wonder if it's possible to get a perfect ending?

very nice game, found it hard to find the exit in the cargo bays tho.
I saved everyone but only found about 3 clues

Aha me too CM. Seems like I got about the same ending my first try, Anon.

The game is so tiny in window mode! I usually dislike full screen play, because it distorts and resizes the browsers and windows I have open.

Double-click on the winsetup.exe file, check 'run in a window instead of full-screen', and select '3x nearest neighbour filter' for Graphics filter. The window size should be three times larger now.

I enjoyed that. Though I would have preferred to take a few objects with me from time to time...

Will someone please Rapidshare this? Dying to play it, but both the seriousbusiness.co.cc and sendspace mirrors seem to be blocked in my Country.

Thanks very much, Tim!

Thanks for spoiling the end, CMspice, I was halfway through the game and you just offered me a warpzone to the finish. -_-

Uh, gee sorry, didn't think I spoiled anything there. I just said what the game isn't. I'm not sure how that got you a warpzone to the finish.

Sweet little game. And it works in Wine too!

Well, I like playing through a point and click adventure every now and then, and The Vacuum was worth the time. Great job, this was really well done.

I think the path to the "Best" ending is fairly obvious. It's pretty easy to hose yourself over and miss some of the clues, though.

Really good game, simple, and practical puzzles. A bit on the easy side got the good ending

3 out of 5
7 out of 9.

I really enjoyed this one, though I should never play these kind of creepy games. 7 days a skeptic came to my mind more than once, though I'm relieved they had some significant differences. :D

I loved this game, great style and only a few logical loopholes.

I wonder if it's possible to get 0 on the "first statistic"? The lowest I got was 1...

I really enjoyed this game. Was quite short but the story kept me interested throughout the whole game. I didn't want to stop playing in the end. I'd love to see more of these games around, I'm sure there are, I just don't know where. Anyone that knows of some other point and click adventures that have been made recently? If so send me an email.

I now completed it twice and I think I will complete it a third time to try to get the perfect end. It's very nice to see how the different decisions lead to quite different situations and characters behavior.
Btw, can anyone tell me what the Engineer-guy is actually doing while "he's taking a piss" ?

I managed to get a perfect 0 deaths end on my first try.

I think I found about 4 of the clues to do it.

I find myself wishing it was longer personally, perhaps it's just me?
