I'm rather surprised with how good that game looks. The main character sprite isn't amazing, not is it particularly well animated, but the gameplay looks strangely compelling.
Just the right amount of anime excess beam-spam, too.

Whoa. I remember playing a demo a while back for this. Glad to see it's still in development. I loved Castle of Elite.
