Weekend Bargains: Portal
Hadn't seen any other sites picking up on this deal yet (presumably because everyone should have played it by now), but the price of Portal on Steam has been slashed by half from $19.99 to $9.99. Good time to add one of the best-rated games from last year to your collection. Note that the offer is valid for this weekend only, and ends on September 1st.

Good catch man. I guess I'm one of the few that hasn't bought it yet... or was, anyway.

Wait.. isn't this not an indie game? Aren't you supposed to hate this? Don't you hate game developers who don't suck your cock? I'm confused.

I was so excited about this, I bought it before even checking to see if it would run on my computer (Spoiler: it won't).

You have to realize that Portal was *originally* an indie game, called something like Nabuculazzar (I'm sure I spelled that wrong) Drop. It only became a mainstream game when Valve bought it and improved it. But at its heart it's an indie game.

Narbacular Drop, yes. Its developers now work at Valve.
