There's twenty indie games in this list which I think most of us have played, but if you've missed any of these picks previously then the weekend is a good time to try them out.

Digit: The Best Indie Games You (n)Ever Played

Comments

Some games are so old that corresponding links are 404.

The Underside as one of the best indie games I've never played? Great let's just put unreleased games on the list since we know no one has played it yet.

does anyone have a working version of paroxysm? because that is 404 as well...

Thank you a lot, Tim! Gonna play Dot Fighters now.

Cactus arcade. What a cool idea. 10/10 for execution, too. Very neat little front-end for some wacky games.

Can't believe I've never heard of Racing Pitch. That sounds amazing.

I was kinda hoping they'd show us indie games that I, you know, never played.

Cave Story and Knytt (+ Stories).....seriously? I'm guessing this was written for those who are new to the indie games community.

"I was kinda hoping they'd show us indie games that I, you know, never played."

If you like, I can pick really obscure indie games and post a real list of 25 that none of you have ever heard of. :)

Missing's a really good candidate..

Should be called Indie Games that everyone has played. Maybe whoever wrote the article is a newbie to the scene or something.

I've played (mostly) all of them; even still, it's a solid list. Could be a nice short primer for the uninitiated.

I think that article wasn't written for us.

@beylita Exactly.

this list is missing an awesome new game called "golden pearl"!! you can get it at: goldenpearl-game.com

Out of curiosity I looked up the "Golden Pearl" game.

This video automatically earns bonus points from me for using one of my favorite Katamari songs.

I'd like to see your list, Paul :)

Why not, I haven't posted in this blog for too long as it is. I'll write it up later today probably.

You can find PAROXYSM at the following url.

Rudolf didn't work on cottage of doom ;)

thanks much =) was beginning to think no one reads first posts anymore xD thanks alpharia =)

@paul we'd like to see that list =)

I also thought (like, ehh, anonymous) that it would be indie games that we have never played, not games that the mass have never played ...(but which are still very known in the indie community)
