Circle infotech had recently released an omake version of Blocksum, although it was unclear what the differences are (besides minor modifications to gameplay rules, removal of replay mode and exclusion of online high scores). The installation of DirectX9.0c and .Net Framework 2.0 are still required in order to play either versions.

The development group also confirmed that they are hard at work on a new game which is scheduled for a release sometime in late summer of 2009. (Blocksum gameplay video)

Blocksum is an amazing game. Different twist on the puzzle genre and one of the most addictive games I have played in years.
