Building Houses with Side Views is a simple Java-based puzzler with a novel premise. Players build houses using basic square blocks as construction pieces, but the building only has to look correct from three different angles, hence block pieces can be conserved when creating a structure that fulfils only these three requirements.

You gain five points for completing a structure that matches the views, but a total of ten points can be acquired by using the least number of cubes possible when constructing the building from scratch. Use the left mouse button to add a block, or right click to remove one. Click on either the build or break down radio button to reverse mouse controls for block placement and removal. Hold the mouse button when your cursor is over the right side of the window to move the camera view around. (source: Makorz)

A great game to meditate on for an hour or so. I got 100 on the first level, but only 89 on the second.

The concept has precedent. See PoV:

Nice game, I like how it doesn't get too confusing but still provides a good challenge and especially how functional the controls are :)

I got 100 on level 1 and 86 on level 2 so far. I just can't get a higher score on level 2 - 1, 2, 6 and 10.

I got 100 on both.
8)

took me a while though...
this game is a great time waster.

There it is. Got 100% as well. This would be a better "puzzle of the day" sort of thing. I was looking for something like this when I was teaching math.

Also got 100% on both. More complicated puzzles for this would be great. Only 6 of level 2 had a 5x5x5 grid.

f#$cking awesome.

I agree that more complicated puzzles puzzles for this would be great.

Some of the symmetric ones look really pretty when you are done with them (i got 100 on both).

great puzzles, but i need more!

100 on both, but the puzzles were plenty complicated enough for me!

how coe it does not work on mine

POV was actually based on building houses, not the other way around.
