Immortal Defense gets its first significant update, with plenty of changes made to the game since the release of version 1.0:

- new background images
- fifty new levels (at least eight of these included in the demo)
- Points updated, balanced and tweaked
- graphical changes and visibility improvements added
- visibility lines added to indicate the location of the mouse cursor on screen
- Ctrl, Shift and the space keys given hotkey functionalities
- minor bug fixes

The full list of changes can be found over at RPGC forums, and a demo is available from the same page as well. (screenshot from version 1.1 shown above)

Thanks for the mention, Tim :)

The price has also been lowered temporarily to $15, for those interested in buying it who but previously thought the old price was too high.

Bought! Awesome.

For those of you who haven't played this yet, $15 is an absolute steal. I bought the full version several months ago and it's one of the best games I've played all year.

i always thought the art style used on the characters was really cool

I don't remember well what the original art looked like, but I think I liked it better than this updated version... I'll have to double check to make sure nostalgia goggles aren't ruining it.

There only art that's changed majorly is the way the paths are drawn and the background textures, both of which can be turned off using .ini tags for those who are nostalgic.

Awesome!

One of the strangest, most complex and well made tower defense games around. I love the endless stages and having everything maxed out. There's so much mayhem is insane. The music is really really good too. 10/10 for my vote.
