The Maze of Madness is a browser-based exploration adventure game coded by the developer of Galcon in under forty-eight hours, featuring content created exclusively by registered Galcon forum members. The game itself can be played by casual and random visitors without any restrictions, although a simple registration process is required to before new locations, actions and items can be added to the database. A pixel art editor has been included to facilitate the creation of images for locations and items as well.

The interface can be slightly clunky at times, copy and paste functions are either minimal or non-existent, and images cannot be imported from a local source but these minor issues barely overshadow the fact that there is a lot of fun to be had from this easy-to-use application.
