The strengths and flaws of Chronic Logic's unprecedented physics-based 2D platformer is examined in detail by David Rosen this week. I find this true for a lot of physics-based games of any kind, there will always be glitches like the one you showed.

I do like the potential of the game controls though, even if they're sometimes a bit cumbersome.

Also, I find it a bit weird that you claim the game controls to be "deep" without explaining why besides the fact that you can jump by going down and then up(in the section of the video where you said it, the controls were displayed on the bottom of the screen).

-I only played the demo of the game, which crashed after a few level consistently.

Gish wasn't developed by Cryptic Sea. It was made by Edmund and Chronic Logic. After it's release, Edmund, and other members of the Chronic team went off to form Cryptic Sea and start developing Gish 2.

I didn't mean that your video WAS marketing for the game, but rather that you didn't mention the marketing for the game that made it successful.

Oh, and I liked this video a lot. The whole sound effects suggestion kind of confused me... of course, I didn't play the game so maybe I would have understood it better if I did.
