Kung Fu 2 is a remake of Spartan X (known as Kung-Fu Master in the States), where you assume the role of a martial arts master on a quest to save his girlfriend from the evil clutches of Mr. X. Controls can be configured from the settings menu, and pressing the escape key switches between full screen and windowed mode.

You can shake off enemies by tapping the left and right cursor keys rapidly. The competition build has six complete stages, with the boss encounter in stage seven currently unbeatable. A full release can be expected sometime next week. (forum thread)

Mmmh, nice attempt (nice graphics & anim), but controls are awful, key releases sometimes not detected, keys that don't work together.. ruins it all for me. I suppose you'll need a gamepad.

apparently punches do not exist in kung fu.

Apparently you haven't found the punch key.

The programmer(s) should have changed the "waggle" to get rid of assailants to something else, especially considering a lot of people are going to be playing with joypads. What was fine for an arcade joystick isn't so good for modern game controllers.

Very fun game, reminds me of when I used to play Kung Fu Master in the arcades as a kid...
