The Manipulator is a 2D puzzle platformer created by Virtanen Games, developer of Seven Minutes and Virtual Silence. In it, you play a psychic who has the ability to control the minds of others and influence them to carry out your orders. Use the cursor keys to move, press the Z key to jump, tap the X key to shoot, and hold the C key to read someone's thoughts.

There are multiple endings to discover in this game.

Every time I try to download it, I get an error saying the zip file is damaged...is this just me ? if not, is there any other place to find it ?

No, the file archive is really incomplete. Have you IndieGames guys really tried the game beforehand?; and how?! :D

Sorry about that. Working and tested download mirror added. I've changed the primary download link to a working one as well.

Just a sidenote, there are twenty levels in total (divided between five sectors), and an additional four if you choose a certain path near the end of the game. No save feature implemented here, unfortunately.

Thanks so kindly for the secondary link, this game is very original.

Like Seven minutes and virtual silence its stylish, dark and I genuinely found it rather disturbing too! overall from the few levels I played id give it a solid 9/10. The guy is a genius.

Enjoyable!

Other keys: Pressing space bar will alternate between the guards' weapons. One might be a tranquilizer? (Not sure). And while you're possessing someone, holding down the up arrow will make you exit their mind peacefully. Holding the down arrow will eventually cause them to explode.

Was a huge fan of Seven Minutes, and just got finished with this.

Great game, highly stylized.

Jumping mechanics are a tiny bit flawed, and the author's spelling isn't the best, but those are entirely overshadowed by how good of a game this is.

Also, bug note. If you're standing in a doorway when the door is closed (specifically 3-3), you'll get stuck in that door and have to restart.

Drives me crazy that the characters aren't even slightly animated. Makes me feel like his squiggle vision is covering up lazyness.

It's an okay game, but not worth the lavish praise being heaped on it.

awsome gaem. i rly like it. :D
