Avalancher is a strategy game involving lots of snow and a fearless eskimo. Players are invited to choose a spot for our freezing hero and then given the chance to build a small igloo around him before unleashing the avalanche.

Of course the game follows the recent trend of 'physics is cool', so expect the little guy to go a-tumbling about when the snow hits. It all starts off pretty simple but soon gets rather challenging. Cliff edges, lack of igloo pieces and harshly-placed trees will surely hinder your progress and cause our woolly-coated one numerous deaths.

Take to the mountains over at Sinister Sea.

diverting indeed

Not bad, I guess... I got in 12th place after I submitted my scores (it took a lot of tries on a couple levels in order to figure out how to not get hurt to get that +250)

I can't get past the lemmings level... ffff

Put your eskimo near the edge and then put ice blocks on both sides. The trees will slow down the rocks and your igloo will stop the trees. I managed to get 3750 doing this.

I’ve got a total of 31840 so far, but I'm struggling to improve on Lovers Leap (scored 2040) if anyone has got any tips!

This game is a great little game. Overall I thought it was a great time waster and was mostly enjoyable. Some of the levels felt like they were more dependent on luck than skill.
