Browser Game Pick: Time4Cat (Megadev)
Time4Cat is the story of a stray feline who accidentally discovers a time-controlling collar. With its power, he sets out to do what he does best - eat leftovers off the street.
Utilizing a unique gaming mechanic to make time seem all bendery, the best use of which has been in last year's classic Braid, the player must collect food whilst dodging the people walking around. However, no-one will move a muscle unless the cat does. It works really smoothly and controlling with the mouse is spot-on.
Give the cat a hand over at Armor Games now.

Um... Wow. This idea was executed perfectly in my opinion. It's enjoyable, and has kind of a mysterious feeling to it somehow. Really good!

Very nice little game. I'm sure this concept could also be used very effectively in more intense games. Especially I think a replay function would serve that well, if maybe not exactly this here game. While the actual gameplay would be rather a bit tactical, being able to see it in "realtime", including close dodges, etc. should be interesting :)

This is really cool. I love the music.

I don't get it. If the collar stops time, then what does the decreasing score over the food mean? It shouldn't get spoiled when it's frozen in time; it also doesn't represent the power of the collar going down, as it stops at 100. So, what's the deal with the score here?

I agree Ilya, this game about time-manipulating cats has internal inconsistencies.
Seriously though this is a great game. It totally messes with your instinct to move fast and "beat" a pedestrian, but all for naught!

This is a fun and perfectly executed little game, but it bugs me how it's got a rating of just 5.7 or so. Not enough guns and gibs for the usual Armor Games audience, huh?
