Foreign Creature is a rather disturbing point and click adventure revolving around a small creature with abnormal powers and quite a lot of blood and guts. The aim is to help the little critter escape his science lab cage and get away from the complex completely unseen.

It's simple but beautifully presented, and extremely (and needlessly) gory. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone under 16, but of course I'm not going to say that, as it will just make you young 'uns want to play it more, am I right?

Oops. Ah well, give it a shot over at Newgrounds.

The story is quite good for the genre and type of game. Sadly, it devolves into a lot of pixel-hunting at times, and randomly clicking everything until it turns interactable.

quiet entertaining and funny I thought, reminded me of 80's horror movies..sort of like a mix of Critters and Carpenters The Thing. I agree it got a little difficult at times and I had to see the walkthrough for a few things, but pretty awesome nonetheless - cant wait for the next part.

It's a bit buggy. I got to the bedroom screen before finally giving up and consulting the walkthrough, which said to "click the knife". There was no knife in the room. I looked hard and even sweeped the cursor over the screen, there was no clickable areas at all. The knife didn't spawn?

In any case, the game is just clicking a series of seemingly random objects with little logic behind it, in the right order as determined by the game (can't use the gun on the guard before having used the ceiling lights, etc), topped with unnecessary violence. You're not just escaping here, you're killing everything for the fun of it. You could've easily escaped with the professor still unconscious, etc. I don't mind a little blood, but there's no motivation here, and no sense of horror or anything (other than "why the hell am I playing this shit"), just mindless killing.

tl;dr: Buggy boring random click gorefest.

translates: i couldnt finish it even with a walkthrough so its the GAMES fault.

(hint: the knife is on the top shelf of the cupboard, below the case)
