[UPDATE: ACE Team have posted on their blog saying that once the day is over, the game will continue to sell for 25% off until release on April 21.]

Steam have an offer on Zeno Clash today, the upcoming first-person fighter from ACE Team. Anyone who pre-orders the game today will get a whole 50% off - a rather incredible offer, I'm sure you'll agree. This means you can grab a copy for just $9.99/£7.49/7.99€.

To be released on April 21st, the Steam description of the game explains:

Play the role of Ghat, a man banished by his own brothers and forced to begin a desperate journey past the forbidden desert and to the end of the world.

If you were planning on picking up a copy of this beast, today would be an extremely good time to do so. Of course, no-one actually knows if it will be any good yet, but many have their fingers crossed including ourselves.

Head over to the Steam store and check it out.

Preordered, thanks for the comment (just visit ACE's forum once a week).
Here in Germany/Europe it costs 7,99€, which is a very good price for this promising game :D

$9.99

$9.99 in USD. This deal would be nice if there was a demo. I'm always hesitant to buy PC games blind since not only will I not know it'll be fun, I don't know if it'll run on my computer.

I doubt it'll be that demanding, it is build on Source.

bought instantly.

Hmm...it looks alright, but I'd rather just wait for a review to come out before prepurchasing just in case it's not that great.

It reminds me of 'montezuma's return , a fps platform game...

Thanks for the prices guys, great help

Bought instantly as I noticed the price.

I kinda feel bad for paying only 7.99 euros...

I agree with Chetyre. While the trailers looked outstanding and the art design seems to be really great, anyway, I'm not convinced that the gameplay is similarly good. That one interview-video with some "normal" gameplay scenes looked surprisingly uninteresting.

I am quite hopeful, but I'd also rather wait a bit.

I find developers and I have differing definitions of "deep", especially when it comes to storyline.

Still, it looks like it could be fun for $10.
