Crush the Castle is a remake inspired by Liam Bowmers' Castle Clout, boasting much superior graphics and a better interface than the original had ever offered. The game basically involves knocking down one castle after another with your massive trebuchet machine, as you travel around the map visiting each of the twenty-four locations that the resistance had claimed as their own territories.

You get only a limited number of chances to take out all the inhabitants of a castle. Everything is controlled with the mouse, with additional types of ammunition unlocked once you've beaten a certain number of stages during your adventure. A castle editor feature is also included with the game, where players can share castles of their own design with others using a handy copy and paste function.

Pretty good. One of the later levels, I think 23 was a killer... seemed to be based more on luck? or maybe I was just going about it wrong.

Nr. 5 was a royal pain in the ass. It lagged so much! The rest are made of pure awesome.

Pretty fun game.

It seems to be based off a board game that I had when I was a kid where you had to eliminate the king (which was in a plastic castle) with catapults and cannons that threw plastic balls.

omg, run through it and didn't even notice the time...
it is so fun!

Goddamnit, I hate the lag. Can't finish lvl17 because half my shots are bad due to sudden lag at launch.

It's awesome but it's also pretty easy, I also agree to Jesse, I tought I wouldn't beat level 23 but then I restared and I got it from the first shot with the three bombs.

Fun game, but the one thing I don't like is that the ammo selection is mostly pointless. There are only about two places in the entire game where any strategy is involved at all.

Pretty fun when your bored, altho it seemed I got past a lot of the levels by luck.

Sad to say that Castle Clout was better, if harder. There were more options with ammunition and the walls at least cracked, with a token credit to the force in question.

The last level relies purely on luck.

CRUSHING CASTLLLES

I feel depressed now. Too much bleak castle destroying. I need bright colors and vomit inducing pulsing.

Just finished it. Would've been way better with more choices in ammo and levels that required some problem solving (possibly with said creative ammo) rather than getting lucky with the physics.

I like that it has an editor that unlocks and that it lets you "save" your levels.

You can tell it's a remake, because it's not as good as the original :/

This game isn't very deep & is really for casual gamers, but surprisingly fun. I'd just have liked some Monty Python silliness since the graphics reminded of them.

Personally I think it is more giving than the original - seriously in the original you got 100 points for decapitating target which got to the point of being impossible to do. It took me forever to finally level the type of ball I had in the Original.

My problem with this one is the fact that walls constantly hit do not damage, and that people act like posts. Now if they became animated or crumpled to the ground that would be fine (seriously a body holding up a brick wall? wow... I don't think that's common). Another thing is the fact it would be more exciting, and fun if you were being fired upon while trying to siege the castle.

There are a few 'puzzle' levels, where you don't have to use the brand new ammo you received to get a one hit kill of the castle, but they are too few and frankly after constant pelting you end up killing everyone unless you get the 'fallen bodies and walls' of protection scenario that prevents you from moving forward.

Overall, polished and enjoyable time waster like the original with the added feature of making your own castle. I enjoyed it.

e' bello e ben fatto..la grafica decisamente migliore di castle clout..Come difficolta' non e' che sia poi COSI DIFFICILE..A PARTE UN PAIO DI LIVELLI...
con castle clout ho trovato molta piu difficolta'..
