OK, so this isn't a post about a game, but hear me out! Henrik Nåmark of You Have To Burn The Rope fame has been collabarating on a music video called Reload Press Play.

Henrik was the guy who wrote and sang the song at the end of YHTBTR (titled 'Now You're a Hero', useless trivia fans) and here is he again singing about his life as a computer game. There's all sorts of things trying to kill him - cats, birds, old women - you can't get much more indie than that!

Ugh, another gimmicky outing from the YHTBTR. This kid needs to either make a real game or go away. We've been sick of him ever since the IGF nominated what was essentially a flash cartoon for 'Innovation."

^Wow, someone woke up on the wrong side of the bed. Settle down man, it's a free video... you feel like he owes you something?

I thought it was pretty fun to watch.

I think it's the fact he feels that an idea without merit is being given so much focus as opposed to real effort.

I disagree, this song was kinda bad, but Now You're a Hero was good stuff, including You've Got To Burn the Rope.

Inexplicable! The video would be better if the animation style better reflected the graphical limitations of the systems it's mimicking.

Still, it gives me warm feelings, if only because I made a video on a similar theme for a class back in university. Two silly mortal-kombat-esque fights later, and much entertainment was had.

The live icon sing the entire song lol
very nice, i liked

hjjjgj: "This kid needs to either make a real game or go away. We've been sick of him ever since..." Do you mean me or Henrik? I've made lots of "real" games since YHTBTR, check them out! Henrik is a musician, not a game developer, so making more awesome songs is exactly what he should be doing. And who are "we"?

I love this song. =) Anyone know where I can get/buy it?

Grumpy kid is grumpy? It's probably just a simple case of jealousy and anger for not being able of coming up with something original of his own :)

And Kian, how's life these days? And when'll you visit us? :(

First of all, thanks for mentioning my production. It means a lot!

@ F1ak3r: It's for sale now. Check out my site.

@ hjjjgj: You got about everything wrong. Kian explained most of it in his post. I'm also curoious about why you're so upset about YHTBTR being nominated. Is it the game you're upset about or is it the judges?

F1ak3r, you can just go to www.keepvid.com, and enter the youtube link... will download the vid to yer pc
