Polkadot is a charming little platformer created by the developer of Sworrd Buster and Social Experiment, in which you play a rabbit searching for a party to attend. This will require solving a couple of puzzles and also conversing with the characters you meet during your short trip.

A method to increase the conversation text scroll speed is explained on the same download page. The game will work on both Windows XP and Vista operating systems without a need to use the Game Maker converter.

I don't mean to be mean by this, but to quote the author:

"I'd remove any expectations you have of it before you play it."

I think that fits well. It was just an experiment of his, so it's not like I'm going to hold anything against him.

The Boy Least Likely To: The Game

well i really liked it.

How do you do that first jump part ?

Seriously, this is just like The Boy Least Likely To's "The Best Party Ever" turned into a videogame.

You do the first jump part by NOT jumping.

I spent a very frustrating amount of time trying to do that last hard to control part, then I realized how simple it was...now I cry myself to sleep...

I never really aimed for this to get any attention at all. I was super shocked to see it on here. Thanks though. :)

Also, Nathan was the first to realise. :P

KeroWak, what did you realize that made it so much easier?

I had assumed it to be fun. Sadly, I was wrong. The talking is way too tedious and boring, and the flight mechanic is absolutely terrible. Yeah, after that I pretty muched stopped playing the game. I would've tried to finish it, but it's like the game was demanding I stop playing it.
Anyway, it's a Cactus rip-off.

Sgrrl, how's it a Cactus rip-off?...

I personally thought it was alright, for an experimental kind of game. It kept me amused until the flying part, at which point I gave up after numerous attempts. That part may need to be slightly easier.

Even so, I did enjoy the game.

Yes, sqrll, every experimental game ever is a Cactus rip off. You keep on believing that, bud. Anyway, I enjoyed this game quite a bit. The text was a bit slow, but the dialog was nice anyway, so that wasn't a real problem. I quit where most everyone else did: the flying part. But that's probably just me being lazy. Regardless, great fun little experiment. :)
