Freeware Game Pick: SHEEP! (Alexander Shen)
SHEEP! is a simple yet addictive card game which is great for wasting a few spare minutes. Sheep cards are placed down 3 at a time with 3 fence cards underneath. The objective is to uses the fence cards to box in the sheep as efficiently as possible.
Fence cards with the same or higher number than a sheep card will remove that card - however, there's only a set number of fence cards, so trying to use as low numbered fence cards as possible is the main tactic. Cancelling out a sheep card with a fence card of the same number will also get you bonus points.
I'm sure I've seen this type of card game before but I can't for the life of me remember what it's called. Alex describes it as a "sheep-y version of Solitaire" but I don't think it's Solitaire exactly... If anyone has any ideas, feel free to put me out of my misery.

This is so stupid! Yet it's strangely fun for when you got to wait when someone's on the toilet, taking their sweet time, and you got to wait for them.

Very simple, but a fun little diversion.
For gameplay this basic, better sound effects might help.

This game is fantastic. It's diverting, there's a random chance element, and it involves some serious strategy.
Your deck of fences only contains enough to fence in the sheep you'll face +2 for each hand. So every time you place a fence value on a sheep that's less than the fence, you're creeping closer to losing.
The highest fence value in your deck is a 7, of which you'll have only 1. However, the highest value of sheep is 8.
To succeed, you'll need to eliminate the low numbered sheep you're faced with, and get rid of the high numbered cards in your hand as soon as something applicable turns up. The 8 sheep will require a combination of 2, but all the rest can be dealt with (and should be dealt with) using the same numbered fence card, if possible.
My current highscore (after a whopping 2 games) is 315400. Very addicting game.

Hi Michael,
Are you thinking of the game Stratego? Opponent pieces could only be taken out by a player piece of higher or equal rank.
