« And Yet It Moves Developer Claims 95.5% Piracy Rate | Main | Browser Game Pick: Super Karoshi (Jesse Venbrux) »

Duality ZF is a space shmup coming soon to Xbox LIVE Community Games. The trailer is just above.

What really attracted me to this game is how polished it looks, plus some of those game modes... 4 player dual control? 8 ships blasting around the screen at the same time? Bullet Hell mode? Erm... gimme?

If this is your kind of thing, it'll cost 400 MS Points when it's released.

These games need to come out for more than just Xbox Arcade.

Alright, excellent to see this here. The Doucette bros. poured their every drop of enthusiasm for the shmup genre into this game.

That looks damn cool. If I had a 360 that'd be on my list for sure.

4 players, 8 ships? 96 scoreboards? Sign me up!

Thank you all for your kind comments. And thanks to Michael Rose for previewing our game on IndieGames.com! Very nice! We hope to not disappoint with the final product. If you love the game, or the thought of the game, feel free to spread the word. We'd love to release Duality ZF on other platforms (of course we would), but it looks like it will just be Xbox 360 and maybe a future release on the PC if we can manage to nail down performance issues and find a distribution solution. (Steam?) And, yes, we are pushing the Xbox 360's fill rate to the max. It will pretty much kill any onboard or $50 or less graphics card on newer PCs.

Japanese bullet hell schmup devs, watch out.

Looks pretty nice. I've been impressed by the enthusiasm and willingness to ask questions shown by the devs, now I just hope I have a chance to play the game since i don't have a 360.

Damn, I would really like to play this game on my PC. (and yes, my PC can handle crysis, so it might handle this one too)

at the developers: Do you really think that those PC Gamer willing to buy your game only have a onboard gfx cards?!

And what does 400 MSP equal in real money? ;-)

Thank you all again!

@Arcade Luver: It's not just that. Slowdown syndrome could allow cheating on the online scoreboards. We would need Duality ZF to perform at 60fps no matter the performance of the PC to stop cheaters from playing the game in "slowmode".

400 Microsoft Points = $5 USD, $5.80 CAD, etc.
