Jaromir Plachy of Amanita Design (think Machinarium) has created this short but sweet little platformer. Named 'Plachy Trpaslik' (Czech for 'Shy Dwarf'), it's the story of a small dwarf's journey into the unknown.

Along the way is some simple platforming and strange sights that you'll want to experience. The whole game is nicely animated apart from the dwarf himself, which is strangely just a black blob with a hat on.

cute little dwarf. i liked it.

Sucks big time.

What constructive criticism you got there, Gameart. I'd refrain myself from posting if I were to say such worthless things, though.

Anyway, I quite enjoyed it, even though I didn't understand that thingie with the old man sitting in a corner and the flies.

I enjoyed this one very much ^^

In Italian Dwarf is Nano..
Now we can all sleep better the night in the Fortress.. XD

very nice

Very much enjoyed this. Somehow, not exactly atmospheric but more like surreal.

Well that was...odd. I did like the level where hundreds of more dwarfs fell on you.

Cute character design but it really seems like a standard side-scroller with some atypical artistic design. Not exactly intuitive as to what to do with each level (for instance, the flying bug at the end of one of the beginning levels).

The controls feel really rough, especially with the platforming glitches where you stop falling prematurely and then fall the rest of the way.

If it felt better to play, I'd have an easier time enjoying the interesting visual design.

i liked it, obviously it's focused on design rather than gameplay. Worth for different five minute play :).
