The Mirror Lied is an RPGMaker-created oddity. 'A faceless girl in a faceless world' engulfed in a story about... well, I'm not really sure what it's about to be perfectly honest.

It's not a horror game, but it sure is freaky. The majority of the surroundings are interactive and there's lots to see and read. Nothing is particularly taxing and you'll be able to work your way through the tale in a good 20 minutes, but it's worth playing just so you can reach the end and make a 'weh?' noise when you realise you have no idea what just happened.

Download from the Freebird Games site.

To be fair, there are people who got a great deal of meaning out of it, but you have to be pretty creative. That's the fun of it.

Hiya, this is Reives from Freebird Games. I just wanted to drop a thanks for the feature, I really appreciate it!

Wow! That was really quite scary in a inexplicable nightmare kind of way. I loved it!

A good game, rich in ambiguous symbolism. Thanks for directing my attention to it!

really well done.

"Yes, I know about this glitch"? Which one? The one where there's nothing left for me to do, except for watering the plant forever? Looks like the only thing I can do is restart.

Uhhh do I have to restart? There really isn't anything left to do except water the plant. I cant get into the room in the basement even if the table isn't there. Is this supposed to happen? Or what.

I'm pretty sure you have to restart. When the glass above the plant shatters, you can climb it, but after I did something (either went to another room, or watered it once more), glass shards disappeared along with my ability to climb the palnt. I restarted and managed to avoid the bug on the second playthrough. It's a good game, but given it's concept it needs to be executed flawlessly to actually work.

I'm into freaky. I'm on it, brother!
