Wow... that looks awesome...
It seems so simplistic and simple, but sometimes it's the little games that are the most fun. Be sure to let us know when it's finally released, I wouldn't want to miss this one.

Boring and uninspired.

Talking about yourself, I assume?

Thanks for the feedback people . I will get back to this project as soon as I'm done reworking The Power or maybe in between .
It just gets bigger and more complicated so is going to take a little wile .

a very promising platformer!

Hey Alexitrón, nice work.
In my opinion, things should move smoothly, the character jumps to quickly and looks very difficult to play :/.

Honestly this does look like a generic platformer. I somewhat expected a little more from the maker of The Power, but we'll see how the full version is like.

It does look exceptionally hard. If you dont swing at the right moment (which is maybe half a second), you get hit. I'm going to try it, but it looks like it'll be frusterating.

Nice. Looks fun.
It's like a Zelda Scrolling Platform game.
At 1:40 remind me a puzzle of a level of a SMS game: Alex Kidd in Miracle World.

WOW ! people can tell all that just by looking at a video . If you play it and think is too hard , frustrating or whatever other annoyances you find please report them and i will add them to my To Do list and I will credit you for helping me improve the game . This is a very early WIP so there is a huge room for improvement and change . Thanks for your kind support .

Pretty nice. I'm almost heading the Wonderboy III music behind.

This looks pretty good. The enemies all communicate how they work really clearly, and the combat looks pretty fun. I'll download the demo / alpha thingumbob and give it a go.

It is indeed fun! Thanks for posting a link.
This game feels pretty well thought out. The bosses are fun and slightly puzzl-ey, everything is intuitive, and the economical effects and animation really work well. My favorite part was the cave sequence.
The horizontal player movement is linear, right? You might want to give it a tiny speed up period before capping it out, right now it's a bit fiddly to make small precise movements. But that might just be a matter of taste.

So why can those games be made on a Mac with Gaming Studio and instead the finished products could not be played on a Mac?
I visited the YOYO-Site and was astonished that only Windows users can have the benefit of playing those games...
It's a pitty.

Totally makes me think of Zelda 2 on NES/Gameboy sidescrolling levels and puzzles of Zelda games...looks like could be just as hard/annoying as Zelda 2 :P
I like the animation/graphics, hope the music is awesome. Don't change the difficulty, kids today have everything too easy....

Difficult != Annoying
Playing chess against a better player is difficult and fun.
Something annoying will lost your interest quickly.

Looks simple and charming, no matter how generic it is.

@sparky : Yes , the horizontal movement just cuts like that , is because I do not use speed but just make the character jump to a new collision free position .I will have this in mind , thanks for pointing it out .
@Alexander Trust : A mac version of Game Maker is on the way . Go to the site again and look to the right .
@Everybody else : Yes , I draw most inspiration from NES games . I think I remember Wonder Boy 3 as well , that was the one you turned into different animals right ?
One last thing :
You people really don't know how hard it is for the person who makes the game to tell when the game is hard or not do you ? I am making the game , I test it a zillion times , by the time I'm done with it I can beat it wile sleeping . Got the point ? Don't get mad , this is a WIP , you will get a better and hopefully for you , easier game when its done . Next time instead of just saying " this is hard " try to tell me what made it so hard for you and I will look into the issue . Was it the controls that made it hard ? Were the enemies going too fast ? That really helps me improve my game , but " THIS IS HARD ! " That tells me nothing .
I thank you all again for your feedback and kind support .

Hey, I told you "In my opinion, things should move smoothly, the character jumps to quickly".
As sparky said, you should use acceleration in your physics. That's all.
Looking forward your game.
(By the way, I believe that most of readers are game developers also)

OH . I am sorry if I came out harsh or something . I did noticed what you and sparky said . I was talking in a general manner and since you also did say " looks very difficult to play I assumed you were judging from the video without playing the game .My bad really .
I added your your points to the To Do list , you can keep track of it in this topic:

or in the provided 64digits link .

Played the demo. Loved it. The twin golem boss was really clever. Can't wait for you to finish it.
