Boss Baddie! Release Lunnye Devitsy
James Whitehead, creator of Satan Sam, and Alex Sumersai-Rai together make up indie development team Boss Baddie! and their latest release 'Lunnye Devitsy' is now available for purchase from their site.
James explains:
"Lunnye is a mystery/puzzle platformer. You play as a little alien that falls off the moon and you have to make your way back. But it's a lot tougher than it sounds, take it from me, I'm the one who made it!"
Created as a celebration of the 40th anniversary of the moon landings, the game is available for $3.20. The video above shows each of Boss Baddie's releases, with Lunnye Devitsy going first. I'll hopefully get around to giving it the once through sometime soon and portray my thoughts to you, dear readers.
It's also worth noting that James is giving his first game, Satan Sam, a 'major upgrade' and releasing a new, free version of it sometime this year. You can still download and play the original version from here.

tormishire and the new satan look interesting, but even if $3.20 is extremely cheap, I think i'd rather play knytt stories

Lunnye Devitsy is Russian for Moon Girls.

While this doesn't look bad, it looks distinctly worse than many free games out there :/

This is probably one of my favorite developper. I simply love his pixelart style and his games are hardcore fun.

This looks good.

Pffft, they've released 1 shitty game and already we have to pay? Luckily it's only 3 bucks. Agree with the above poster, seeing the trailer just reminded me to play knytt again... or one of the myriad of flash games that this thing is based on. FOR FREE.

I didn't really like New Satan Sam, not my sort of game but I can see how others would like it. Tormishire looks promising, but it still isn't out yet.
That video and their website doesn't really show that much about Lunneye Devitsy. Is it just a explorer platform like Seiklus? Do you get upgrades? It just shows jumping around in different environments, which if it is true and as the others have said, I could just play those other flash games or even finish off Seiklus because I never did.

I am looking forward to Tormishire like I look forward to having sex again for the first time in 3 months.

Satan Sam looked alright, but I guess from the general opinion here it's not that great?
Tormishire looked pretty awesome.
Lunnye Devitsy...well, not really interested in that one.

Well ?
I don't understand !
Why so much anger in this post ?
James Whitehead seems to create great little game.
What's not fair is selling it 3$.
I would never create any games in my whole life if after months and months of work I must release it for less than 10$ just because some dudes giving their work for practically nothing !
So little price will crush this kind of niche market. My 2c.

The New Satan Sam will be updated? Co-op mode? That's great! Hope, that James will remove some nasty glitches from it. And as for "Tormishire" - Alex May knows my feelings. ^_^
P.S. As for negative comments about The New Satan Sam. We, Russians, call such guys быдло (on English, I think, it must be sound like bidlo). This term not very correct to indi-gamers, but anyway - it keeps some part of true. Быдло - people that accept only popular things and don't even want to hear about something other. Knytt is a great game, but it is not the single platformer in the world. More than that - this is completely another kind of this genre. So comparison of The New Satan Sam and Knytt not very right.

FYI, my dislike for New Satan Sam has nothing to do with its lack of popularity. I can't speak for the other posters above, but while the game was very polished, its dozens of combos to execute with only a D-Pad and 2 buttons, and the absense of any instruction or tutorial level to help you learn the more complex jump combos that will get you out of lethal situations later on, was certainly a turn off for me. I wouldn't go as far as calling it the worst game ever however, with the right amount of instructions, I would have probably played it beyond level 2.
I'll probably give Lunnye Devitsy a try since you cannot die in it.
Chetyre: Don't let other people decide for you, New Satan Sam is freeware, simply download it and give it a try to see if it's your sort of thing, it's not like you have anything to lose.

I'm payed $3 for Lunnye and I love it! I just wish i could find all the ways back to the moon. it's a hard game even if there isn't any way to die in the game
