Nathan Carter has one more big job to finish before he can take an early retirement, but his final con doesn't go exactly as planned. A Night To Remember sees Nathan plunged into a story he'd much rather not be part of.

It's your typical adventure game with an interesting and sinister tale that will take around half an hour to complete. Clicking on certain objects can be a little fiddly at times and none of the puzzles are too taxing, but it's definitely worth some of your time.

Is there something wrong with me? I can't even do the first puzzle. I've got the journal, the chair leg, and the rusty knife, but I've clicked everything on everything and still nothing.

@Andrew, trying 'using' the dead body again :)

Never mind.

love it.

just got stuck in a cave, escaped using a key but theres no way to get across to the otherside! arghhhh

ps. got these connectors too (!)

eh..chains that is..

@Anonymous: It's to do with those rocks.

I don't know why I struggled all the way through that for the past hour or so, I don't even like point and click games.

Given the thematic similarities to 7DAS, I personally found the line "I am not a thief amusing."

Wow, that was an unadulterated terrible riff of 5DaS. I wasted way too much time out of my life trying to figure out which item to arbitrarily use on which other item, and got one of the least satisfying endings of all time.

My advice: play 5 Days a Stranger instead.

There's a bug: when I came back to the basement after rescuing other guests, I couldn't leave it. Each time I clicked on the exit the protagonist would tell me that he had to "talk to the others", but since the room was already empty he was trapped there for eternity.

Other than that and low production values, it's a nice little game. I enjoyed it.

That screenshot is giving me serious 5 Days a Stranger vibes, and the comments here seem to confirm that...

Yeah, it's heavily influenced by Chzo series, but I found it interesting and creative enough to keep me playing. I wouldn't call it a rip off by any stretch of imagination.

this is pretty nice for a first game but all it really does is remind me that yahtzee hasnt made anything for two years ._.

Terrible graphics, terrible control, thoughtless puzzles.

How do you get the connectors? I've tried everything I have on it, but nothing seems to work.

Thanks to everyone who has downloaded my game and especially those who commented and rated it.

To El obstaculo: Thanks for catching that bug, I fixed it as quickly as I could and updated the game.

I put the cane in the rocks in the cave... but now I'm totally stuck :(
How can you get the connectors or chains?

How do you get the connectors?

Its a great game, it only have some minor flaws, like the patter on walls and floor are very ugly, it could be spended a little more time making that better, most walls on the game don't have a single thing on then (kitchen, hallway, etc) it would be nice have some stuff to look at, clocks, portraits, etc
and finally you could had been able to do more actions, like, in the pit how are we supose to know that you should get a rock on the ground and smash the connectors? you should at least be able to get the stone and wen use then to struck the conector it should get a message "this ain't strong to break the connector" or something.

I only just finished it, and it was very well done in my opinion. It would have been a little easier to have some clues in various bits of the game, but I still enjoyed it.Keep working on the Sequel!
