The official site for Hammerfight (previously known as Hammerfall) was revealed by Fun-Motion today, with plenty of new media posted in preparation for an upcoming release of the full game. A 20 MB demo is also available for download, although the default language is Russian and there is no translated version of it for others to try out yet.

I remember playing an early version of that game, it was awesome.

Wow! I forgot all about Hammerfall! Man, that game was fun! Can't wait for the full release.
Also, is this a new demo or the same demo from last time?

It's a different demo, I think apart from the core gameplay the game has changed quite a bit. At least from what I remember and what I've played now, it plays noticably better in the current version.

Wait... Fun-Motion is back? Jesus... Matt was gone for a helluva long time...

Also, no better way to celebrate F-M's return than with HAMMERFALL!

How can I download the demo? I click on the button but nothing happens...

while I think the name hammerfall is better than hammerfight (which is basically a description of the game rather than an imaginative title) the game does look greatly improved.

Thx, tim. The problem was that you can only download the file if you dont set the language to english..

I'd assume the name change was to avoid conflict with all the other things using the name Hammerfall.

Enjoyed the demo, but a lack of understanding created a number of frustrating situations, or perhaps that was just my lack of skill (I frequently crash into things while swinging around wildly). I'm interested in the storyline, too, though I can't read a lick of Russian.

That trailer music sure is catchy...

Ooooh, this looks seriously cool. Looking forward to the final release!
