The Heist 2 is an overhead car chase game in which you play the crook, pulling one successful robbery after another as you try to amass enough money for your retirement plans. Before the start of each heist, you would need to kit out your escape vehicle and occupy it with some henchmen to carry out the dirty deeds.

At the scene of the crime, cops will attempt to stop you from fleeing the premises. There shouldn't be any problems reaching the getaway vehicle for a quick escape if you've hired enough manpower and equipped them with the right tools for the job. Then it's all about driving away as quickly as you can, dodging incoming traffic and ramming police cars to the side so that you can put some distance between you and your pursuers. (game guide)

Oh man. This is actually a ton of fun. My advice: the rifle seems pretty useless as a weapon...I stuck with mainly uzis and two shotguns. For vehicles, I think the best weapon is the pusher. The boost is kind of useful, but the pusher is great for clearing your way. It's hard to use mines properly since you can't see that far behind you, and controlling the turret while driving is just awkward.

I lied! When I just armed one of my gang with a rifle, it wasn't that great. However, a gang with only sniper rifles as weapons is a force to be reckoned with, considering the cops don't move around too much.

I know! Get everyone sniper rifles as soon as possible and the game becomes a piece of cake :P

My guys are more like terrorists than bank robbers. I'm driving down the street with a rocket launcher mounted on my van killing hundreds of people and they come after me with cop cars and handguns.

Really fun game, isn't really hard, get snipers for everybody and that's it, I wish there was acctualy an use for slow motion and the tank as a reward isn't really something.

@Chetyre>>I found this out on accident, but the left mouse button uses your special weapon (regardless of what it is)... and the mouse also aims the turrets... so use one hand on the mouse, and one hand on the arrow keys and you're golden. if you actually need to use slowdown, use right-shift for it.

I've also had considerable success when using mostly submachine guns (I.E. uzis), but then again, I max out my squad count on the missions.

One tip: Don't forget you can replay older missions as you wish (so long as your configuration meets the requirements of the mission) for cash. 6 people on the first few mission makes it a free pass to the driving game with minimal police interference (they'll never make it to the scene of the crime)

It isn't really hard and a may be a bit repetitive (at least in the first missions), but it is really really fun.

The driving and upgrades are fun, but all the mission requirements turn the game into a grind.
