Freeware Game Pick: Paul Moose In Space World (thecatamites)
Paul Moose In Space World is an adventure game featuring a world made (and hand drawn) entirely out of paper and pens. It's an absolutely fantastic concept and well worthy of the second prize it received in the Game Jolt Axiom Contest.
The whole experience has a very 'Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy' feel to it, from the situations Paul finds himself in to the dialogue. It's pretty short - there are literally around 6 or 7 actions needed to complete the game - but it's all about the mix of style and laughs over anything taxing. It's those little details too - for example, when Paul finally meets the aliens, they are made out of what appears to be Plasticine (or something along those lines), which in Paul's world is of course very alien to him indeed.
It's a little buggy in places (the inventory screen in particular - you'll want to aim slightly up and to the left to select items) but it's still highly enjoyable while it lasts. Grab it from Game Jolt.

More animation would have been nice. I also ran into a glitch where I managed to make my robots disappear :/

the music is by RAYMOND SCOTT, who was born over 100 years ago... he's a genius :) i love all of his electronic music... - so please mention at least somewhere who contributed to what's published under your name.

@0rel: The game mentions (in multiple places) that the music is indeed by Raymond Scott. If you are asking for me to mention in the above post who the music is written by, I think the mention in said game is more than enough to be quite frank.

oh, it's alright then. i've only quickplayed it before, and couldn't spot any acknowledgments yet for the music (neither on the download page nor in the game). - but i enjoyed the atmosphere and analog style. i'll give it another try this evening...

Hey, thanks for featuring this! and yeah Raymond Scott is credited on the gamingw.net and AGS forums pages, in the readme and in the in-game credits. i'll add that to the gamejolt page now as the whole tone/look of the game came together from listening to his music :)

Stuck, but the atmosphere makes playing really joyful.
