Shaping up to be full of lovely platforming goodness. Coming 'soon', according to Andrew's blog.

Two words: Knytt Stories

three words: no, it's not
also, the game looks beautiful

Well, you'd have to be crazy to not see the influence of Knytt on this game.

But who cares? Nifflas has freely acknowledged that Knytt was itself influenced by other games that came before it.

That's how games and genres evolve and change over time. One developer sees something they like in a game and decides to make something in that vein. But in doing so they add their own personal touch and outlook.

This game, Spectre, looks fantastic and I can't wait to play it.

Looks pretty awesome, unless the gameplay is as choppy as the video shows...

Thanks for the feature. :)

Oh, and I've never played Knytt Stories, so I have no idea if I'm ripping anything off it.

I like the music ... hope what's in the game can get the same feeling :)

That looks a really beautiful game.
